Earlier this week, Microsoft released Windows 10 Technical Preview build 10041 which was supposed to fix the security bugs and overall performance of Windows 10 from the previous build 9926. The build was available only for users subscribed to the fast ring.
The developers have emphasized on improving the Start menu and screen, including additional transparency effects, drag-and-drop features for the apps, enhanced Task view feature, a network fly-out from the taskbar, new keyboard shortcuts and more.
One bug, however, was left unfixed. The bug consisted of locking the users out of their computers as the user name and password box did not appear on the sign-in screen.
Thankfully, a new patch known as KB3050653 was just released and has taken care of the problem.
For those who were expecting the Spartan browser to debut in this build as promised, Windows announced that they needed more development time.
