What Does Perplexity AI Do?

Perplexity AI is a threat mainly used to capture personal information from users and push ads for advertising revenue.

It is compatible with the most commonly used browsers like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Upon installation, it is likely that it will alter your browser’s settings and change your default home page to its own.

Perplexity AI may cause redirects to suspicious and scamming pages. Interacting with any of the content Perplexity AI provides is not advisable, as it may expose you at various risks.

How to Remove Perplexity AI?

2) Hold CTRL+F keys and type Perplexity AI or the file name of the malicious executable of the virus which is usually located in %AppData%, %Temp%, %Local%, %Roaming% or %SystemDrive%. Usually, most viruses tend to set entries with random names in the “Run” and “RunOnce” sub-keys.

3) You can also find the virus’s malicious files by right-clicking on the value and seeing it’s data. After having located malicious registry objects, some of which are usually in the Run and RunOnce subkeys delete them permanently and restart your computer. Step 4: Scan for all virus files, related to Perplexity AI and secure your system.
