Google Updated Chrome Stable Channel and Fixed Several Bugs

Stable Chrome Channel is the best choose if you want to avoid crashes and other issues as it has passed the full testing and Chrome test team grants to its serviceability. Every six weeks it is roughly updated for major releases and every two-three weeks for minor.

Chrome Stable Channel Version 43.0.2357.130 Available

ウィンドウズ, マック, and Linux have got an update for the stable channel of Chrome. The channel has been updated to version 43.0.2357.130. Changes that have been made are available in the log of Google.

In reference to the new release, Google published information on four vulnerabilities. They highlighted their fixes that were contributed by external researchers. One of the external researchers earned a $5,000 bug bounty from Google for reporting a scheme validation error in WebUI also known as CVE-2015-1266.

Four Security Fixes and Rewards

Google’s report listed the following four vulnerabilities:

  • CVE-2015-1266: Scheme validation error in WebUI.
  • CVE-2015-1268: Cross-origin bypass in Blink.
  • CVE-2015-1267: Cross-origin bypass in Blink.
  • CVE-2015-1269: Normalization error in HSTS (HPKP) preload list.
