Important for Locker victims!
Files, encrypted by Locker could not be the only harm done to your computer. Locker may still be active on your machine and may spread to other computers on your network. To detect if you are still at risk and eliminate the threat, we recommend downloading SpyHunter.
Locker is a type of ransomware specifically designed to block access to your files and demand payment in order to provide a decryption key. Selon les experts de logiciels malveillants, paying the fee will not fix the problem as the ransomware is likely to lock your files again.
Locker ransomware is also known as Locker v5.52, Locker v3.30, Locker v4.55, Locker v4.81 and Locker v2.60.
Once inside your system, Locker will encrypt your files using RSA-2048 encryption algorithm. This way you will not be able to access them without a decryption key or a proper anti-malware tool.
It will then display a message telling you that you need to pay a ransom fee (usually about $25) in order to gain access to your files again.
Please note that paying the ransom fee will not help you get your files back. Cyber criminals behind Locker may simply collect your payment without bothering to send you the decryption key. They are also likely to block access to your files again, so they can demand more money from you.
